Classes & Programs

Registration has been extended for the Dog Obedience class and is now scheduled for Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Creekside Park from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. Fee for the class is $70. This class runs every Wednesday for six weeks. Your dog must be at least five weeks old prior to the class starting. Pre-registration is required. Registration has been extended for the Adult Golf lessons and is now scheduled for Tuesday, September 14th at Carolina Pines Golf Club from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. Fee for the class is $80 per individual or $150 for two in a family. The class runs for six weeks every Tuesday night. Pre-registration is required. A kayak class will be held starting Thursday, September, 16th at the Neuse River Foundation from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. Fee for the class is $50. Class runs every Thursday for four weeks. The Tri-level Tennis League will start the week of September 20th. All levels of players are welcome and matches will be held on weeknights. Cost for the League is $15 per person. For more information, contact Billy Wilkes at (252) 636-6606.

Special Olympics Craven County will have its annual fundraiser, Craven's Got Talent, on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Grover C. Fields Middle School at 7:00pm. Leagues

Craven County is accepting registration for the volleyball league held at H.J. MacDonald this fall. Practices will start Saturday, September 18th. Registration will be held at the New Bern Mall on Saturday, September 11th from 10:00am - 2:00pm and Sunday, September 12th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Games are scheduled to start the first part of November on Sunday afternoons. Registration fee is $45. Pre-registration is required.
